About Me

I am a current Medical student at the University of Missouri- Kansas City looking to help others on their journey to figuring out how to learn! I am in a 6 year program where I have finished my BA in biology and am now working on my MD. Through my years of education, I have struggled through countless classes until I found the perfect way to work through problems. I am hoping I can help others find that path, and eventually have my students become proficient self learners! I have experience working with students through volunteer work which allowed me to help students learn how to read one-on-one. Additionally, as a student myself, I know the time that a student chooses to get help is sacred time, as everyone lives such busy lives. Because of this, I do not believe in simple busy work or wasting any students time. Because of my experience as a medical student, I have a lot of exposure to Biology and Chemistry classes. I tutor these classes as I have taken high level courses in these subjects, and I am continuously updating my information through my own education. I also tutor ACT help! Through my own journey, I was able to improve my score by 7 points! I understood how stressful it was to choose resources, or how to complete practice questions, and would love to help people find a method of practice that works! I am able to help those who are looking to improve their score to create a plan that makes sense to them! I also can help in other subjects, including social sciences and reading comprehension in middle and high school. I believe that all students deserve to feel confident and ready to learn!
