About Me

I've been tutoring in some capacity since high school - I tutored other high school students one-on-one as part of a volunteer program, and also volunteered at my Hebrew School as a teacher's aide for children in grades 2-5. I also was hired by Stanford Summer College as a Residential Tutor for one summer, where I held office hours for high school students taking college courses at Stanford, and helped high school seniors with their college applications. At this point, most of my teaching is through helping friends with classes. I find it really rewarding to help someone else understand a concept, and see that light bulb in their brain light up! Outside of academics, I love to make art (I'm a photographer), read / write, and spending time outdoors - especially with some close friends :)Also, I'm beginning a full-time job as a User Experience Designer in NYC beginning in August!! Definitely happy to chat about that, or any other interests you may have!
