About Me

I have been teaching for 21 years. I left the public schools 10 years ago to give private instruction and tutor students in various subjects. I have have experience teaching all levels of French, English, and English as a Second Language. I have experience tutoring Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, history, biology, music, civics, geography, nutrition, and SAT/ACT preparation. To me, the most important part of teaching and tutoring is to reach each student at his/her academic level and to help him/her understand concepts in a particular content area using strategies involving his/her individual learning style.
