About Me

I am a biomedical engineering graduate from Arizona State University and a first year medical student. As a student myself, I often times find myself leaning on tutors more than the teachers. For that same reason, I would like to help students feel comfortable working with me in the long-term for subjects like algebra, trigonometry, and geometry. But also, for short-term goals such as ACT test prep. I've taken the exam and know exactly how to help students perform well. I tutor students in a way that is fun, helpful, but also logical. Students learn best when subjects are broken down into simple, easy-to-understand steps. That's my teaching style, taking concepts and moving forward one step at a time. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities and playing sports. Basketball, hiking, swimming, and reading are a few of my hobbies. I'm a driven and passionate individual that loves to see progress. I can't wait to get a chance to work with students and make them successful!
