About Me

I am a 2015 graduate of Texas Christian University with a double major in Economics and Political Science. I am currently an Associate Account Executive for Crystal & Company in the Employee Benefits department. While I was a student, I worked for 2 years as an in-home tutor for kids grades 6-12 and focused on study skills, organization and assistance with homework in math, English and Spanish and SAT preparation. During the fall of 2014 I worked with the TCU Athletics Department where I help the TCU Student-Athletes with Calculus and Economics. I enjoy tutoring both Math and English/writing because I am an analytical thinker and like to encourage students to challenge themselves and reach new goals. I was a Dean's List student for 6 semesters and have been awarded the Priscilla Tate research prize for Women and Gender studies at TCU as well as 2015 Texas A&M Outstanding Undergraduate Research prize for the Project for Equity. Outside of work, I enjoy watching college football, being active outdoors and spending time with my friends. My experience as a tutor has helped me learn how to cater to different learning styles and has taught me how to approach issues from different angles. I am both prompt and professional and would love to help your child grow into a successful student.
