About Me
With 10+ years of teaching experience in the humanities, social sciences, and language arts, I am strongly qualified to help you with understanding culture, brushing up on history, and with learning and mastering a new language. I received my B.A. in philosophy from Florida International University in 2009, and I'm currently working on completing my graduate degree in the same field from the University of Miami. In 2012, I I was made James Madison Cuban Fellow at Georgetown University, in Washington D.C. This fellowship is awarded annually to the best secondary-level social studies teachers in the country. Therefore, this must obviously begin with a good education. Outside of my academic interests, I enjoy traveling, listening to music, talking about current events, and meeting new and interesting people.
