I am an experienced teacher and tutor, with over a decade of varied experience. I have taught elementary through adult learners in subjects ranging from basic math, reading, and writing skills to ACT/SAT prep to higher level mathematics. I have taught in classrooms, in learning centers, and at students' homes. Students have told me that I explain things clearly and in easy to understand ways.

I am always ready to help students with their work. My goal is to not only be a guide for them but also build their confidence in themselves in order for them to work on their own in the future. I am currently a senior at Bridgewater State University and am majoring in mathematics and elementary education. I have tutored students in algebra, geometry, and a bit of calculus also. I have now been working as a tutor for more than 4 years and am more than happy to continue that journey.

I am particularly fond of Shakespeare (although there are a lot of students who don't agree with me!) but I also have experience reading other European and American literature. My history experiences covers Europe, America, and Latin America, although I have a special fondness for Tudor England (think Henry VIII and his wives), early American history, and classical cultures, like ancient Rome. I think that everybody can develop a love for history, they just need to approach it in the right way!
