About Me

I love tutoring and seeing students build confidence in their grasp of material. I enjoy tutoring Biology (Coursework, AP, SAT Subject Test) and Biochemistry because I love sharing my passion for "the study of life". SAT Math, SAT Writing, and SAT Verbal are my favorite subjects to tutor because I find it rewarding to see students feel more confident about a test that is nerve-racking for many. I believe in every student's capabilities to learn and improve. With my patience and motivating nature, I help students build confidence in their inherent abilities. In the last seven years, I have had a range of tutoring experience from being a Biochemistry Teacher's Assistant to teaching ESL classes online. I am a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering. Since graduation, I worked as an engineer for more than two years. I am now preparing to go to medical school. In my spare time, I enjoying training for a half marathon, reading mystery books, dancing to Bollywood and Salsa music, and singing tunes that are stuck in my head.
