I received my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida.I have traveled extensively and have had the opportunity to teach English language (ESL/EFL) to kindergarten through middle school students in South Korea and here in Denver, Colorado.While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, Writing, and ESL/ELL.I believe that everyone is capable of achieving great things through education and that it's my job as an educator to help my students meet the goals they have set for themselves.

During my time there, I was exposed to the many inequities that exist in accessing resources in STEM and since then I've been passionate about breaking down any barriers to entry. I've worked as an Engineering teacher, exposing students to Robotics, Engineering Design as well as Architectural design through platforms such as VEX, Roblox, Onshape, Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Revit. As a mechanical engineer, I love to do anything that's hands on, innovative and challenges and improves my own skills. STEM is meant to be fun!

I am a graduate of Cornell University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration with a minor in Real Estate at the Nolan School in the SC Johnson College of Business.Since graduation, I have worked extensively in commercial and residential real estate throughout the United States. In addition to tutoring, I own my own real estate investment and development firm. My hands-on experience has enabled me to innately understand the concepts that are in the Real Estate Broker licensing exam. I share my real-world experiences with students so they can best understand how the different concepts found in the exam are applied in real life.Overall, I am very easy going and enjoy working will all age groups and at all academic levels. I tutored elementary children who needed extra support in reading and writing. My volunteer experience also includes tutoring adults in a literacy program. They did not know how to read or write. I have also tutored refugees from Viet Nam in their efforts to learn English as a second language. I currently have a home, in Brazil and have taught English as a second language to native Portuguese speakers.As a former elementary classroom schoolteacher, I taught migrant children with learning difficulties English with Whole Language techniques, which is a fun way to learn reading and writing. I have also taught English as a second language to students in a program who came from various Asian countries. They were new to the community college system in the United States.I have extensive experience instructing adult learners. In the field of telecommunications, I supported a call center as a documentation specialist and provided Just-In-Time training on new technology developments regarding cell phone infrastructure. I was also a learning consultant providing support to a residential billing and collections telephone call center.On the college level, I taught a variety of courses in the areas of sociology, philosophy, business administration, and doctoral dissertation development. These courses were on the associate, bachelor's, master's, and postgraduate levels. I currently give conference presentations to doctoral learners.I earned a BA in psychology and a Master of Arts in elementary education at Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. I earned a Master of Arts in Organizational Development and a Doctorate Degree in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate Institute located in Santa Barbara, California.I provide tutoring in the fields of reading and writing on elementary and college-level academic writing. My favorite subjects to teach are beginning reading and writing and while I am not formally certified to teach the subject, I like tutoring English as a second language using an emersion approach.

I have known since the age of 7 that my passion is mathematics. I guess some would consider me to be a math "geek" since I love numbers and I love all levels of mathematics. I even solve problems in my sleep! Scary, huh?! I have taught and tutored secondary and post-secondary students for 40+ years. I want to help all students experience academic success in mathematics by building self-confidence in problem solving.My hobbies and interests include reading murder mysteries, guest services, singing, walking, traveling, and entertaining.

Recent graduate of Wisconsin Lutheran College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and a Minor in Mathematics. I also have food science certifications through Washington State University. I tutor a wide range of students in math and science based courses from middle school on into college. I really enjoy the ability to teach and mentor all students because I focus on finding what works best for each student and adapting my style of teaching to them. I also have hobbies in music specifically piano and fitness, I enjoy sports a lot!

After obtaining an Associate's Degree in Science from Navarro College, I transferred into Texas A and M's Computer Engineering department in 2015. I am currently progressing towards my Bachelor's in this area. I tutored students while attending Navarro in Math and Science. Coincidentally, these are my favorite subjects even though that is what was in demand at the time. I seemed to flourish in these subjects when I broke theorems down into easier to understand rules, rather than always trying to apply the complicated jargon in the textbook. After implementing this into my tutoring, I noticed that it helped students feel at ease with the material. When I am not studying, I like to workout and practice overall fitness.
