I am going to be a senior at the University of Minnesota -- Twin Cities, studying biology, hoping for a medical degree in the distant future. I have had plenty of experience in science courses as well as many other types of course. A little bit more about me, I absolutely love music and art, really anything artistic I have tried! One of my favorite things to do is play guitar.

I'm Logan! I'm currently a student at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, majoring in data science. My coding language of choice is Python, in which I have 5 plus years of formal and informal education/experience. Prior to college, I worked as a youth sports coach and camp coordinator, which has given me the skills and values needed to be a successful tutor. Moreover, during college, I've been working with younger students and have been tutoring them through their own python coursework.

I'm a mechanical engineering student at the University of Minnesota. I'm passionate about math and science, but I'm also interested in history and literature. In the course of my studies, I've often sought help from tutors, so I know what it's like to approach a tutor needing help. I am a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, where I received my B.A. in Biochemistry. Currently, I am an MD/PhD student at Johns Hopkins University. I've been tutoring and teaching students for my entire academic career. I particularly enjoy teaching biology, other sciences, and standardized tests. My teaching philosphy involves empowering my students to reach their goals themselves. It's always rewarding to see them accomplish something they didn't think they could.

I am able to tutor a broad range of chemistry courses, from organic to physical to general chemistry, as well as math and physics classes. I can also help with test prep for the ACT, SAT, or GRE. I believe that asking questions is the basis of independent learning, so I strive to create an environment students feel that no question is too small to be asked. I am a classically-trained pianist and a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in Piano. I am a retired computer professional with a degree in philosophy. My interest in ancient philosophy led to my study of Greek and Latin as an undergrad. Also my philosophy degree required logic. Since college I have had two hobbies, Latin and Logic. I have a passion for both these subjects and look forward to tutoring you in them.
