I am a college student at The University of South Florida, and I'm planning on going to medical school next year. As someone who is already finishing up my pre-med track, I'm comfortable with tutoring the many subjects you'll see in pre-med, which includes biology, physics, chemistry, and math. I also tutor standardized testing including SAT, ACT, and MCAT. I would say that I adapt my tutoring style to whatever fits the student best. I like to always identify what thought process or concept a student is studying with, and help them learn what they need to know accordingly.

This involved helping student athletes get acclimated to their academic and athletic schedules. I have also volunteered with an organization that pairs you with an underprivileged student in the community. I tutored my student in Geometry, Algebra, and Pre-Calculus getting her a B+ and A- in her classes!As a Korean American and Spanish minor, I have had experience teaching different languages. I have had experience in teaching Korean American children both conversational English and essay-writing. Because of my fluency in Spanish, I served as a Spanish tutor throughout my undergraduate years as well.I can't wait to meet you!

I graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University, receiving my Bachelor of Science in Health Science. I also double minored in Chemistry and French. As an undergraduate, I had the opportunity to serve as a teaching assistant and tutor for General and Organic Chemistry, which developed my love for teaching and tutoring. Since graduation, I have been preparing for graduate school and soon will pursue further study in Public health, particularly in Infectious Diseases. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about Biology and Chemistry, particularly their role in the human body, that being said I am a BIG fan of human physiology!In my experience, helping students struggling with specific content is due to simply having gaps in prerequisite knowledge and or trouble thinking critically through the material. Both of which can be taught and improved upon!

I am currently living in Tampa, FL. I am currently in the last stages of my Doctorate of Medicine and have found myself with time on my hands. Throughout my studies from high school to graduate school I have worked with students at different levels. I have don't everything from informal group sessions to formal tutoring. I enjoy the interaction and experience that tutoring offers. I have found academic success, and would like to help others achieve that.

My belief is that an interest in the subject yields better grades. If you enjoy the subject you are working on, you will be more likely to learn the material. My philosophy is to guide the student to figuring out the correct answer, and hopefully in the process the student will understand the concepts behind the problem.
