I graduated summa cum laude from Emerson College, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Studies and a minor in Writing, Literature, and Publishing. While in college in Boston, I was struck by a quote on the side of the Boston Public Library: "The Commonwealth requires the education of the people as the safeguard of order and liberty." This statement gives me great inspiration as I work with my students. As a tutor, I have worked with students from ages 5 to 25. I tutor many academic subjects, but my favorites are always History, Social Science, English, and Literature. I love these subjects because I often feel they are our greatest keys to understanding why the world behaves as it does. I have taught numerous forms of standardized tests for admittance to high schools and colleges. It is not uncommon for my students to see significant increases in math, reading, and writing sections of these tests. I always find that the best tutoring results come from keeping sessions as fun and engaging as possible while still covering the material. When not tutoring, I teach performance classes in subjects like magic, comedy, and balloon sculpting. When not teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, travel, and video games.

As a formal graduate of the University of Central Florida, I completed two degrees in Biomedical Sciences and Mechanical Engineering. With this experience I hope to bridge the gap between technology and medicine as a future doctor. During my time in undergrad, I played an extensive role in leading study groups and helping my fellow students to learn tough course material. From my experience, I thoroughly enjoy teaching mathematics and organic chemistry and plan to tutor in pre-algebra/algebra for now, later picking up organic chemistry and Calculus.
