I am an avid long distance runner and podcast listener. I'm nuts about traveling and hiking and have lived in San Francisco and Alaska within the last year. But mostly, I love learning. I am a graduate of The University of Northern Colorado where I earned my BSN and a Master's in nursing education. I received a second Master's in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Midwifery. Since graduation, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and spent 13 years as a Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado of Nursing. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, gardening and family time.

I am comfortable teaching are mathematics, chemistry and Spanish. Out of these subjects mathematics is my favorite to teach because of the logic found in the subject. I find it fascinating how, in mathematics, topics work towards a unifying theme.
