And although I have been involved with teaching since 2013 and tutoring since 2001, it was not until 2018 that I began to experiment with online teaching of one-on-one clients via Skype, experiments that helped me to be ready and adaptable when my entire industry needed to entertain the shift in February of 2020. I started my tutoring my mother's students while in elementary school and later worked as teacher's assistant in college and a tutor for an after- school program in Poughkeepsie. On the side, I've worked as a private tutor for undergraduate and graduate students since graduating from college. I love to teach and I hope to eventually become a professor! I am a graduate student at the University of Windsor, where I pursued my Master's in Applied Computing after completing my Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology. With a solid foundation in IT, I've accumulated three years of valuable experience as a Salesforce developer and contributed as a web developer intern. My passion lies at the intersection of mathematics and computer science, showcased through my dedication to two AI projects during my academic journey. I am a certified Salesforce PD1, Salesforce Admin, IIT Java and IIT Python.

I am a graduate from Stanford University. I received my Bachelor's in Economics there and continued to receive a certificate in Full Stack Web Development from the University of Texas Austin. I have tutored intermittently, primarily teaching test prep; however, I have at different points taught most everything. Here in the Houston area, I've worked with Testmasters, C2 Education and Test Geek. I implement the Socratic Method into my teaching style: I ask plenty of questions that force students to deeply understand the material and to explain how they know why their answer is correct or not. I also believe it is my duty to equip students with tools to become better learners themselves which entails welcoming unique and creative approaches to solving problems, encouraging students to connect the relationships between different topics and subjects, and recommending using external sources and materials to learn and supplement understanding.
