I have been working with children in schools, daycares, summer programs, and afterschool programs for 13 years. I hope to use my diverse experiences to foster communities of joyful and eager learners.... I believe that each student travels on their own unique path to knowledge. I believe that a teacher is a guide along these paths, walking alongside each student, supporting them where they struggle and guiding them when there is a fork in the road.

I am a Seattle-based actress and singer originally from Illinois -- I moved to the Seattle area in 2000. I also work part-time at a non-profit guardianship firm downtown. (We look out for the financial and healthcare needs of the elderly and the physically and mentally disabled.) I am an anglophile and ailurophile (look them up! :-)), and I love theatre, movies, Gonzaga basketball (I went to law school there), and Chicago Cubs baseball.

I am a graduate of Masters in Legal Studies Indigenous Law Program and I hold a BA degree in Spanish with a German minor. I have always enjoyed assisting with English Language Learners. After spending much time abroad, I enjoy tutoring Spanish as well. Education facilitates for better understanding of one another and I aim to be the best I can be having to do with assisting learners.

I have experience in the military, teaching English in Turkey and I have my B.S in Mechanical Engineering which I used to briefly work in Germany.
