I am an experienced Instructor holding 2 masters degree and finalizing my PhD dissertation. I'm experienced with more than 11 years of teaching all levels from K to university students. You learn with excitement and achieving great results. I'm always committed to my students and follow up committed closely and I care a lot of them. My experience with teaching enabled me to utilise many teaching techniques and strategies that allows students to learn easily and effectively. My academic studies enables me to have great self confidence while teaching since I have many years of instructing experience to many levels. To add more, I have taught in 3 different countries with diversity and knowledge experience.

I am a licensed pharmacist in states of CA, NY, and MA. I completed two years of pharmacy residency in ASHP accredited programs. I am passionate about pharmacy and I would love to help students reach their goals and become a successful licensed pharmacist. I am also fluent in Farsi.

I'm now a first year fellow studying Policy Analysis at the Pardee RAND Graduate School.

I am passionate about education and helping each of my students to reach their full potential. I also have prior experience teaching students of a variety of ages both in the classroom and on a one-on-one basis. I completed my undergraduate degree in Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University in May 2015. During the course of my studies, I taught English as a second language to Palestinian refugees in southern Lebanon, where I led an intermediate English class and a creative writing course. In both classes, I had students from a wide range of ages, from the early primary through the late secondary stages of their education. After graduating in 2015, I taught a course on Anglo-American poetry to students from grades 6-12 at the Vasant Valley School in New Delhi, India. At Vasant Valley, I taught over a hundred students about the fundamental components of English-language poetry and introduced them to select poems from several British and American poetic movements. I also helped students strengthen their writing skills through imitation writing exercises. Additionally, I tutored several students outside of class both at Vasant Valley and in southern Lebanon. Through these experiences, I learned to share my passion for learning and intellectual growth with all of the students I worked with.

I would consider myself an expert at strategically navigating the high school world. On Wednesdays, you'll find me in pink. I don't like buses.

I graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Biology, where I discovered a passion for teaching and a love for subjects like genetics and microbiology. Since then, I've enjoyed tutoring high school students in biology and helping younger kids dive into science basics. Additionally, as a native Arabic speaker with over 12 years of formal study, I'm excited to help students grow their Arabic language skills, whether they're just starting out or looking to go deeper. I love making learning enjoyable and relatable. My approach is all about connecting complex ideas to real-world examples, whether in biology or language, so students can feel confident and curious. Outside of tutoring, I love exploring new recipes and hiking, which brings a fresh perspective to my sessions. I'm genuinely excited to help students reach their goals and develop a love for learning along the way!

As a dedicated educator with a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Jordan, I am eager to contribute to Varsity Tutors and inspire students in elementary and middle school English, reading, and writing. With over 3 years of tutoring experience and a solid background as a certified teacher in New Jersey, I have the ability to connect with students and foster their love of learning. My hands-on, interactive teaching approach emphasizes critical thinking and creativity, allowing students to engage with material in meaningful ways. I am particularly passionate about helping English language learners thrive, utilizing my bilingual skills to create a welcoming environment for all. Adding to that my second language which is Arabic (my native language) that will help those students who needs to learn English. I am primarily an SAT and writing tutor with two years of experience and over 60 former students. I have spent hundreds of hours familiarizing myself with dozens of real SAT tests and SAT format-specific strategies. While a tutor, and later general manager, at a boutique university admissions consulting company in Cairo Egypt, I applied my teaching experience to a leading role developing SAT curricula for a variety of skill levels.

I am comfortable tutoring the language at any level. Besides French, I enjoy with students on SAT prep and college application essays. I am passionate about teaching and know what it takes to create a personalized program to help students reach their goals. Outside of tutoring, I'm an avid reader with a particular passion for modern Middle Eastern history, and I love watching cycling and going for bike rides.
