Session Summaries by French Tutors

French Tutoring review by Chris in Libertyville, IL
We spent some time using online tools that provide a quick and simple introduction to articulatory phonetics. We concentrated on non-nasal vowel sounds, especially the difference between mid-low and low sounds. We spent the rest of the session working on vocabulary and sentence structure, and applying this in order to prepare for a future conversation. As always, the student did wonderfully well, and I look forward to helping her get through a full conversation.

Then I gave him the future tense root for aller and asked him to generate the future tense on the board. He did so and then copied the conjugation to take it home to memorize. We did a little drill with the future tense, with negatives and inverted questions
