I'm a coach, mentor, and educator with 15+ years of experience supporting learners across all ages and backgroundsincluding students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, adult learners, and those navigating recovery, reentry, or college admissions.

I specialize in helping students find clarity and confidence in their work. Whether we're preparing for a test, refining an essay, or building study skills, I meet students where they are and create a space that feels safe, affirming, and real. My background in writing, theatre, and social work gives me a unique edge: I understand how to engage both the heart and the mind, and I know how to guide students through challenges with empathy and strategy.

Students often tell me they feel heard for the first time. That's the foundation I build onso they can grow, take risks, and succeed.
For over 15 years, I've supported students of all backgrounds with a special focus on individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), adult learners, and those navigating college admissions.

My goal is always the same: help students feel curious, capable, and confident. I meet them where they are, prioritize their goals, and build a student-led environment rooted in authenticity. Whether we're tackling essays, test prep, study skills, academic content, or a new hobby, I create a space where students feel safe, seen, and comfortable being themselves.

My background spans writing, education, social work, and the arts including theatre, visual arts, and photography. These creative roots sharpened my storytelling, communication, and critical thinking skills. In academic and professional theatre, I focused on dramaturgy, directing, dramatic literature, and playwriting (yes, it's spelled that way)all of which inform how I guide students through writing and research.

Students often tell me they feel like someone is finally leveling with them and listening. That trust matters. When students feel relaxed and seen, they ask questions, enjoy learning, and grow in real ways. My work is always tailored, intuitive, flexible, and built around the student in front of me.

My interests are wide-ranging, but people are always at the root of it. I love writing, reading, learning Spanish, and volunteering in community outreach—especially with individuals experiencing homelessness. I’m drawn to artistic, unconventional, and philosophical things—games like Disco Elysium, painting, and exploring the work of Carl Jung. I plan to pursue my LCSW while continuing to learn simply for the joy of it. Books have always been a constant. Free libraries are my weakness. I like board games, critical thinking puzzles, and the quiet steadiness of water—swimming is my calm. My dog, Rupert, is always nearby, most at peace on river walks and warm, sunlit naps. If we end up working together, I’d love to know what excites you—what makes you curious, what pulls you in. That’s where the best learning starts.
