Born and raised on the Southside of Chicago, currently living in the Avondale neighborhood. I have always wanted to help students improve as much as possible. Whether it be through a 15 minute conversation or hour long class, I prioritize building connections. Building positive relationships is essential in engaging a student in academic work.
Math can be a tough subject to master, I like helping students see that arithmetic is not so scary. In fact, they can love it like Cady from Mean Girls, because it's the same in every language.
When it comes to language arts, I know how hard it can be to understand that I comes before E, except after C and other instances. The English language has its set of rules and I can help your student get a better understanding.
