We finished the student's math homework and started reading notes for biology. I have asked him to finish notes before next session.

During this session we focused on parallel lines and proportions. This was a continuation from the end of the last session. From the student's notes I was able to extract the needed theorems to solve his homework. The student has little difficulty finishing these types of problems. We mainly focused on his homework during this session. I will figure out some techniques to show the student on what to do when doing story problems. I think if he focuses on what he is currently doing and then try to think about how to apply what he has learned to a real world example he will begin to be able to do such problems. I look forward to the next session.

We worked on the student's Math packet which includes several word problems involving percentages. The student is still demonstrating difficulty in understanding the information being conveyed in the word problems, but is making progress.

Our meeting today went pretty well, and we covered a lot of material. We covered how to plot coordinate points. He learned it very, very quickly, so he should be able to do all of the coordinate plotting problems on the next test. His algebra is getting better and better.

We reviewed logarithms, polynomial division, and vertical and horizontal asymptotes. I advised the student to keep reviewing all the material we have covered thus far. Once she does a couple of practice exams, she should be ready to take the test.

We worked on vocabulary, conjugations of tener and poder, and reviewed the seven Central American countries that the student needs to know for tomorrow's Spanish test. We will be meeting in person on Sunday morning at which point we will set out a plan to get all of the assignments that have been missed submitted and accounted for by his teacher.
