Hello!

My name is Candace Boyd, I am an 8th grade math teacher in Virginia. I graduated from Winston-Salem State University in Winston Salem, NC with my Bachelor's degree in 2014. I have earned my Master's Degree from Averett University in August 2020. And I am currently in my 7th year of teaching. I specialize in Math, more specifically, pre-algebra and Algebra I, however I also have experience in tutoring grades K-7 and I have worked with students with IEPs for most of my career.

It is my belief that all students can learn math! I pride myself in helping students cultivate a way that works for them!
