I am a recent college graduate who is excited to share my hard-earned knowledge with students in need of help. I majored in a Geography and Economics with an emphasis on urban studies and quantitative analysis, but the academic skills and concepts from those disciplines apply to a large number of social science fields. I think that education at its best is a collaborative experience between students and teachers to meet the students' goals, and I approach tutoring with that same mindset. I will work with students to help them define their goals and then act as a coach and mentor to help them achieve.In general, I'm a cheery, extroverted guy. I love talking to people about just anything, but Economics and my cat are my favorite topics. In my more introverted moments, I play video games, watch Netflix, and read all kinds of books. I also keep up to date on the world around me by reading the NYTimes and Wall Street Journal during the quiet moments of the day and by reading a "smart" non-fiction book every once in a while. Most of all though, I spend my time thinking about interesting problems and solutions because I am fortunate to truly love what I do.

I received a B.S. from the University of Miami in 2018 (Go Canes!). I double-majored in Marine Science / Microbiology and Immunology and achieved a Chemistry minor. I then attended a Biomedical Sciences graduate program in California and gained a great deal of laboratory and mentoring experience before moving back east. Since moving home to Philadelphia, I have taken the Praxis Core exams (scoring perfectly on the Math) and am in the process of obtaining my PA teaching certification in secondary education (7-12) biology.

I am a second year Graduate student at the Rutgers University Business School, pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Throughout my career, I have spent time tutoring students in the fields of Algebra, Calculus, and Statistics. I enjoy working with these topics as they are prevalent in "every-day" life; for example, as a manager I have used these concepts to effectively monitor staff and inventory. My experiences, combined with my current MBA curriculum, have greatly enhanced my ability to tutor students who may be struggling with these topics. As a middle school student, I found Mathematics difficult and overwhelming. However, an eight-grade algebra teacher fueled my passion for the subject by making it fun, interesting, and easy to understand.
