I encourage students to explore interests outside the classroom and look for ways to connect those experiences back to what they are learning. I prepare each session with an outline of topics, guiding questions, and time to review homework or any challenges a student may be facing. My approach is logical, visual, and discussion-based, encouraging students to work through questions and link concepts together. I believe every question is valuable. I am a freshman Computer Science major enrolled in the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University. I have a passion for teaching students, and I am experienced with having to give one-on-one guidance in teaching many concepts. Teaching is one of my way to feel the joy of supporting people. I'll help you master the language and dive into Japanese culture and subculture. Once you start to think in Japanese, you will notice that your way of communication changes. English is good for business, law, and science while Japanese is more about sharing feelings.
