About Me

Hi! I'm Liona, a soon-to-be Engineering and Philosophy graduate from McMaster University while being a 3-sport varsity athlete. While school is important, it shouldn't be a student's entire life. I encourage students to explore interests outside the classroom and look for ways to connect those experiences back to what they are learning. I prepare each session with an outline of topics, guiding questions, and time to review homework or any challenges a student may be facing. My approach is logical, visual, and discussion-based, encouraging students to work through questions and link concepts together. I believe every question is valuable. I'm happy to stay in contact with parents through session summaries or progress updates, and can provide a personal webpage to track learning if requested. My goal is to help students not only understand their subjects but also learn how to learn and enjoy the process.
