As far as I can remember, I've been the go-to guy when you wanted help with a subject, whether it was advanced mathematical concepts during my Bachelors Degree days, or software engineering principals in my Masters degree program. It was for this reason that I was specifically picked out by one of my professors to be his teaching assistant for two semesters of classes before I graduated. So confident was he in my skills that he was able to go around the requirement that TA-ships be only handed out to Phd level students.After graduating with a Master's Degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Arlington, I've been involved in a number of software development jobs including my current one in a Fortune 100 company. I can can back up my academic knowledge with extensive industry experience. However I haven't lost touch with teaching as I'm still called upon by friends for consultation about software engineering and design concepts.I'm computer enthusiast enjoys tinkering with hardware and software in my spare time and am pretty confident in my computer science teaching abilities. And since math goes hand in hand with computers, I'm well versed in math subjects as well.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design (graphic design) from Elon University in 2016. Throughout my senior year, I worked at the headquarters of Kindermusik International on website, marketing, and teaching tools. The following year, I decided to stay at Elon University and obtain a Master's of Science in Management with a focus in Operational Analytics. This degree was largely focused on statistics but also included background in accounting, economics, finance, and business management. Since graduating in 2017, I have traveled both domestically and abroad. During the summer of 2018, I received my TEFL certificate and moved to Vietnam to teach English for three months. In my free time I enjoy playing basketball, guitar, and piano, as well as cooking and exercising. Though I have experience in many fields, I mostly enjoy tutoring algebra, statistics, English as a foreign/second language, and guitar. I believe that it is essential for students to learn in a stress-free atmosphere and that true academic growth must come naturally. I am a recent graduate of the University of Notre Dame, with a Master's degree in Management. Before Notre Dame, I studied English Writing and French at Saint Mary's College, and French is by far my tutoring passion. My favorite thing about tutoring is just being able to share the subjects I love with other people. I have previous experience tutoring French and writing at Saint Mary's College, where I have received pedagogical training as a part of my work. I LOVE working with students! I recently finished my PhD at Cornell University in Biochemistry, Molecular and Cell Biology. I have spent the past 10+ years working with many different students in lots of different subjects including general and organic chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology, MCAT test prept, SAT Chem Subject Test, and even general study and organizational skills! I have worked with high school students, undergraduates, pre-med students preparing for the MCAT, and adults who have gone back to school. I am also fluent in Spanish having spent two years in Spain where I talked with peoples of various Spanish-speaking countries emphasizing the Castillian accent.
