About Me

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University in 2021. My major was Sociology and Educational Psychology. After I graduated, I spent a year and a half working as an after-school site director at the YMCA while becoming a Texas certified English teacher. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about English, especially as it relates to literature (reading and dissecting, as well as creative writing). In my experience, I often see the most success (and excitement for learning) in my students with the games and various fun ways I use to encode and recall information. I am a passionate advocate of education, believing it to be the best ticket to a happy and successful life, and I try to inspire this desire for learning in all of my students. In my spare time, I enjoy reading that which enriches my life, writing poetry, video games, and spending time with my cats and dogs.
