I have been a credentialed upper elementary and adolescent Montessori teacher for over a decade, working in multi-age 4th-6th, 7th-8th, and 9th-10th grade classrooms. I hold a BSE in Electrical Engineering/Physics from Princeton University and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Pennsylvania. I have always been passionate about math and science and I love bringing my enthusiasm to students, helping them find joy and build confidence in problem solving and discovering for themselves. All students are natural learners when in a stress-free environment. I create safe, hands-on learning environments where students can ask questions, make and learn from mistakes, and think for themselves.
