About Me

I am passionate about helping students of all levels by empowering them to achieve academic success! My love for helping other students sparked during my undergraduate years when my classmates would often ask me for help. I genuinely enjoy connecting with students and exploring interests and strengths. I believe that tutoring should be more than a teacher-student dynamic. I believe in developing a partnership that allows the student to feel comfortable and empowered to be uniquely themselves. I was able to tutor 7 athletes at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and help them achieve success within Algebra, Anatomy, and Chemistry. My favorite subjects are Math and Science and I enjoy tutoring Chemistry, Biology, and Algebra. I graduated from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in Biology (pre-med). I attended medical school last fall but through a difficult decision, decided against it. I am currently in the process of applying to Physician Assistant programs. I also just got a new lab puppy so you may get to meet him during our session when we both need a quick break! Hobbies: reading, cooking, music, writing, art, books
