About Me

I have a BA in Film and Media Arts and am currently pursuing an M.Ed. in Advanced Teaching. I have 10 years of experience in education and have worn many hats. I am skilled in social-emotional learning and take a student-centered approach to meet the individual needs and goals of every student. I am experienced in tutoring English at all levels, from English Language Learners to professionals looking to improve their writing skills. I have tutored K-12 students in reading, writing, and literacy skills and have taught English to students in China via an online platform. I recently spent two years managing an afterschool program where I assisted students in increasing their achievement rates in English Language Arts. My mission is for you to leave every session feeling more confident in your abilities, and have fun in the process!
