About Me

I live in Indiana. My educational background has given me a passion for helping students learn. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Ball State University. In addition, I have both the TESOL and TEFL certifications. My educational experience comes from both tutoring and teaching in virtual environments. I have several years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL). In addition, I have worked as a learning coach for online students using the various learning platforms. I have worked with Pre-K students through high school students. I love teaching and understand the importance of adapting to the students' learning style. I realize that students are unique individuals. Thus, I like to use a variety of strategies to help my students so they may better understand the concepts they are being taught. I especially love teaching English and Math students as these are my areas of expertise. In order for my students to learn as much as possible, I try to make my sessions engaging and fun. Interests and Hobbies: When I am not teaching or tutoring I love spending time with my family and our horses.
