Before pursuing a career in education, I attended Katharine Gibbs School of Fashion, where I obtained an Associate of Science degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. I have more than 13 years of experience co-teaching in self-contained classrooms teaching students with disabilities. Although I love and enjoy working with children of all ages, I've developed a deeper love for students with disabilities. I believe all children are deserving of equal and fair education and that it's my responsibility to equip students with the tools they need to be successful. I am a firm believer in education and how absolutely necessary it is for an improved quality of life. Although I tutor in core subjects, I am extremely passionate about English and Literature. Most of the tutoring services I provide are to assist students in elementary and middle school, however, I have much experience tutoring undergrad and graduate students as well. I'm an advocate for building self-confidence and encouraging students to try their best all while teaching and/or re-teaching foundational skills.

In my spare time, I enjoy anything centered around the arts. This includes writing short stories and poems, listening to and writing music, sewing, fashion sketching, drawing, dancing, and singing (although I'm not that good at it, lol). I also enjoy reading that which enriches my life and soul, and watching movies of all genres.
