About Me

I am a recent graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, where I earned my JD. While at Georgetown, I served on its Admissions Committee, reviewing close to 1,000 applications and rendering a decision on each application whether to admit, waitlist, or deny. Prior to Georgetown, I graduated from NYU with a BA, doubling majoring in history (with high honors) and political science; and double minoring in Spanish language and philosophy. I am currently an adjunct professor, teaching law-related courses and political theory at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. In the past, I have worked at a K-12 learning center, assisting students at all grade levels in both math and reading. Additionally, I have served as a one-on-one tutor to select students who solicited my help in drafting their college essays, or to just improve the quality of their high school, middle school, or elementary school writing capacities. Finally, I was a volunteer ESL teacher for six years, teaching grammar and conversation. As a tutor, I do not feel complete until I am confident that my student fully understands the concepts at issue. I take very seriously the responsibility that it is my job to convey the material (obviously with students investing effort), and I try to break everything down as simply as possible. My job here is to help! While one session may not do the trick, I am diligent and prepared, and, based on student needs, I will map out how our lessons should progress to address those needs and overcome any obstacles in the way.
