About Me

I have earned my permanent certification as a reading specialist, my permanent teaching certification for English 7-12, and my official Wilson Reading System certification. As an on-staff reading specialist, I have the additional responsibility of aligning our school's curriculum with PA Core Standards and ensuring all curriculums utilize reading interventions. I have 5 years of data analysis experience, and several years of experience diagnosing disordered readers. As a member of the International Literacy Association, I work patiently and encouragingly with students across a wide range of academic abilities. My professional goal is to develop my students' self-efficacy and growth mindset. Hobbies: books, reading, music, writing, art
