About Me

I attended Portland State University, obtaining a Bachelor in Arts in English Composition, and then attended Lewis Clark College obtaining a Master of Arts in Teaching - Education. I am certified to teach math and English ages K-12. I am also licensed in Special Education. I have taught various courses for the last seven years including High School Math through Algebra II, High School Language Arts, Middle School Math, Middle School Language Arts, and Robotics. I was voted our districts top tutor, having helped with credit recovery and putting an emphasis on helping students graduate. My teaching style is interactive and engaging. I believe that tutoring is a great way to get movement to happen in a class in which you are feeling stuck. It can be a good way to build skills also. I look forward to getting to know students and helping them achieve success.
