About Me

I am a private tutor in South Florida focused mainly in junior high and high school math. I have engaged in teaching math and guitar to various friends and colleagues and have been consistently complimented on my teaching style. My teaching style involves taking time and explaining concepts in a very detailed manner that makes the subject as simple as possible, while periodically asking the student to take the next step in a problem to make sure they understand. I understand that subjects like math can seem scary or boring and therefore reassure the student that math can actually be very simple. Beyond simply teaching concepts and processes, I enjoy teaching students how to succeed in their classes. Regarding math, I believe a proper amount of practice along with memorization and application of formulas is a guaranteed winner! In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, playing soccer, and of course teaching in any way that I can. I have always enjoyed seeing others excel beyond expectations. I believe that any student can master any subject with a good strategy. I am available to tutor online (preferred) and in person, on any day of the week. Let's get started!
