My teaching style involves taking time and explaining concepts in a very detailed manner that makes the subject as simple as possible, while periodically asking the student to take the next step in a problem to make sure they understand. I understand that subjects like math can seem scary or boring and therefore reassure the student that math can actually be very simple. Beyond simply teaching concepts and processes, I enjoy teaching students how to succeed in their classes. Regarding math, I believe a proper amount of practice along with memorization and application of formulas is a guaranteed winner! In my spare time I enjoy playing guitar, playing soccer, and of course teaching in any way that I can. I have always enjoyed seeing others excel beyond expectations.
