I create an environment where students feel safe and at ease, a place where they do not have to worry about how they are perceived, and where it is good to make mistakes. I teach them in a way to highlight problem solving and real life situations. I provide a challenging learning environment that is child-centered, well balanced, and aims to develop the "Whole Child" to the fullness of his or her potential. I seek to ensure that each child develops the appropriate knowledge, skills, and awareness necessary in preparation for future challenges. I seek to ensure that cultural diversity of our community and the needs of our global society are both understood and addressed.

I am a professional drummer and have played on concert stages for 15,000 or more. I love to fish and anything that has to do with water. I also enjoy camping and the outdoors.
