A bit on my background: I am a Duke University graduate and recently completed my Masters in Advanced Math Education under the auspices of the NYC Teaching Fellows program. Ihave experience teaching various levels of math and understand how to convey concepts in practical and clear ways so students gain a real understanding of the material. My particular specialty is Math. My style of teaching--and my passion for the subject-- resulted in high test scores and the gratification of a lot of students. A passion for math is a contagious thing. My students learn not because they have to learn, but because they want to learn -- a huge difference.
