I've tutored for over seven years and with a Bachelor's degree and Masters in environmental engineering, four years of industry experience and five years as a professional sailor, I have a lot of appreciation for how the world around us works. From the simple process of doubling a recipe, to finding the optimum angle between wind and current to win a sailing race, to deeper questions about the workings of the cosmos, I hope to help students understand and internalize just how important (and useful!) an education in math and science really is!
