I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Linguistics from Hofstra University and hold a BA in German and Film Studies from Bowling Green State University. In between my studies, I spent a year working as an au pair in both Guatemala and Germany, where I lived with host families and tutored several young children under the age of ten. I have also mentored undergraduate college students and help international students from China with improving their English. As a linguist, I understand the challenges of mastering one's first and second languages, which is why I specialize in German and English. Reaching educational goals is something I highly value in myself as well as others. I find tutoring to be a fulfilling and rewarding experience for both parties involved, and I take great pride in enriching students who are struggling with their academic pursuits. Most of all, I believe learning should be fun! When I am not tutoring, I spend my time traveling the world, immersing myself in a good book, or playing with my dog.
