About Me

I have a BS in Physiology, a Master's of Science in Public Health and I am working towards my second Master's in Biology. I am well versed in Biology, General and Organic Chemistry, and Math, having recently taken my Dental Admissions Test. I thoroughly enjoy tutoring students of all ages and educational backgrounds and helping them reach their academic goals. I have been tutoring since I was in grade school and I have also developed after-school curriculum for pre-K children up to high school-aged students, and also served as their instructor. I also have extensive experience working with young adult males placed in a group home for behavior issues, neglect, and abuse, and I volunteered as a GED tutor. I consider myself to be a life-long learner and my passion is helping others. Some of my hobbies and interests outside of my time with my daughter, studies and tutoring include traveling, do-it-yourself projects, art, live music and volunteering.
