About Me

In middle school and high school, I tutored fellow students in Math and Physics and was tutored in English. Having been on both sides of the tutoring table, I know firsthand the value of investing in a student one-on-one. I understand that being tutored requires setting aside one's pride as well as a disciplined commitment to scheduling and mental focus. I am ready to help young students make the necessary lock down to realize the improvement they need. Fun facts!-I was the 8th Grade California Mathematics League Champion, scoring a perfect score.-Once upon a time, I was a middle of the road math student. At around age eight, my parents sent me to Kumon. I bought into the system and developed the backbone of mathematical thinking that made me a top math student through high school and into college.-I carry a Math minor from The University of Pennsylvania in addition to my Economics major and two other minors. I am particularly grateful for the opportunity with Varsity Tutors to give back to students who are in the shoes I once wore.
