About Me

I graduated with honors from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics - Applied Mathematics/Economics and a minor in Statistics. I love math and want to use what I have learned to help others succeed in math classes. As part of my experience in college, I was a supplemental instruction leader and involved in math reader programs, which developed my teaching skills in different levels of mathematics. Even after I graduated, I still continued to do small group teaching in a private education institute and some one-on-one tutoring. When I see my students are struggling with math, I am always patient and use different approaches to make sure they understand the material before moving on. I can also teach Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese too. If you are also interested in learning Chinese, that's a bonus! I enjoy tutoring, and with my experience, I believe I can be a great help!
