I am a graduate of Miami University in Oxford Ohio. I have my Bachelor's in Applied Biology and a minor in Data Intelligence. I am currently a Master's student at the University of Florida pursuing my degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. I have been a team leader in many of my college courses, creating study guides and hosting study sessions. I have covered a wide array of topics in my educational career. I have a strong passion for Biology, Ecology, Conservation, Zoology, Literature and Writing. I am currently working towards my degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Virginia. I've enjoyed mentorship and tutoring since my 9th-grade summer where I was a tutor and counselor at an annual summer camp. Since then, I have had the opportunity to mentor and help those who come from low-income backgrounds to achieve their educational goals through clubs in my high school and even in my family where my sister has been diagnosed with slight autism.I tutor biology and up to college-level calculus. I love both of these subjects because it's amazing to learn biological functions and just appreciate them when you can actually identify them in your daily life. Math is just fun, I love it! Hi, I'm Aarzu! I'm currently an undergraduate student at Vanderbilt University, studying biochemistry and computer science. Since I was in elementary school, I have been making efforts to learn and understand mathematical concepts at more advanced levels through self studying and classes outside of school. I also have a lot of experience tutoring kids of all ages in math. I tutored at my local Russian School of Mathematics as well as at my high school through the National Honor Society. I also have experience tutoring high schoolers in chemistry.I love finding ways to explain complicated concepts in simpler ways because not only is it rewarding to help others gain a deeper understanding of a subject I am so passionate about, but because it gives me an opportunity to understand the concept at a deeper level.Aside from my experience tutoring kids in both simple and advanced math concepts, I also have the grades and test scores to indicate my knowledge of the material. I received an 800 both on the SAT II Math Level 2 Exam and the math portion of the SAT. I also received a 5 on the AP calculus exam.
