I am a recent Tufts University graduate with a major in Philosophy (focus on History and Philosophy of Science), and minors in Physics and Religion. I earned Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and High Honors in Thesis for my 72-page work in the History of Science. I was also a committed Teaching Assistant (TA), going so far as to get special permission to TA Logic as an undergraduate due to my passion for teaching the subject, and participating in cross-departmental Physics-Education studies during my two semesters as a Physics TA.I have always gone above and beyond in my teaching efforts, making sure that the learners not only understand the material, but come away with an appreciation of their own intrinsic worth as thinkers and inquirers.

While I was at Auburn, I tutored engineering students in Calculus, Physics, and specific Mechanical Engineering classes.I tutor both Physics and Calculus. I enjoy physics the most because it describes the world around us. From throwing a football to launching rockets, physics helps define how things will interact.Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing volleyball and various board games with friends. During the 2016-2017 academic year, I was also a Community Adviser, developing a community of about 50 residents, facilitating discussions of appreciating and understanding human differences and diversity, overseeing residents grow in leadership roles, leading an academic initiative program, and undertaking administrative tasks in a residential community. I have been an educator for over 8 years and my areas of specialization are English, Literature, U.S. History, and Drama. My teaching background primarily involves working with elementary school age children, but I have also conducted workshops for middle schoolers and taught adult learners. I have been a camp counselor for five- and six-year olds, supervised an after school program for first and second graders, prepped kids for a Spelling Bee, directed a drama club for high school students, and conducted acting workshops. At Cornell University, I obtained my BS in Industrial and Labor Relations at the ILR School (also known as the I Love to Read School) with a major in ILR and a minor in Education. As an Education minor, I gained experience working with students with diverse learning styles doing fieldwork as a teacher in the Ithaca area. I was also an enthusiastic member of a sketch comedy group and have acted in films. My passions are voice acting, reading, and teaching young students to master their work so they gain confidence and pride in their abilities. I believe my strength as an educator is the ability to connect with students where they are and to make learning fun and engaging.

I am deeply passionate about the intersection of digital circuits, programming, drawing, and robotics. These diverse interests have shaped my journey and continue to fuel my curiosity and drive for innovation.

After receiving an undergraduate degree in English, I went on to get a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language. This opened the door to many opportunities to teach overseas in international/American schools. I've taught in Taiwan, China, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan as well as schools in the Chicago area. I not only have a lot of experience in helping non-native English students improve their language skills, but I have also worked for over 10 years helping Middle School and High School students become more competent, clear writers and more efficient readers. I am passionate about assisting students develop their potential to communicate well. Through extensive interaction with people from many cultural and racial backgrounds, I believe I can connect with a wide variety of learners, motivating them to become the best they can possibly be.

I have been an elementary school teacher for over five years. Before relocating to Georgia I was in Vietnam for two years and Colorado for two years.With my Masters in Education and a minor in Athletic Coaching I have gathered many tools and strategies for teaching children with a variety of learning styles. In addition to professional experience, I draw upon my personal experience of using a tutor to learn to improve reading and writing skills. These experiences have given me resources and tools for helping children who struggle to grow and succeed!
