I am a Mechanical Engineer. At the moment though, I have decided to change directions and pursue a career in medicine. As I go to school part time and prepare for my MCAT, I am tutoring physics, mathematics, biology, and chemistry, here at Varsity Tutors with my spare time.

I am a firm believer that all students learn differently and identifying how each student best learns is essential to his/her academic success. Therefore, as a tutor, I aim to specifically tailor my teaching style to each student in order to help them maximize their potential. Outside of academics, I enjoy exercising, playing basketball, cooking, and attending concerts and other live performances in the Philadelphia area.

I am currently doing cancer research at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. As a student I was never been able to decide on a favorite subject because I felt anything I studied in school could be fun and much easier if approached with the right attitude. I'm an undergraduate at UH-Clear Lake working on a B.S. in Mathematical Sciences. I've tutored for about two years now, including a year working at San Jacinto College's Math Center. It was a great experience because it was very busy and I got the chance to help dozens of students every day. However, I enjoy one-on-one tutoring the most because there is less pressure to help as many people as possible. Instead, I can focus on a single student for the entire session.
