I have bachelor's degrees in English (1998 Wabash College) and Health Sciences (2012 - University of Nebraska-Lincoln). I am also a graduate of the Modern Standard Arabic program at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California, and am working on a third bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics at Austin Peay State University. I am a firm believer that the education we receive in brick-and-mortar classrooms complements the education we receive in the Schoolhouse of Life (and vice versa).

I love to tinker with electronics. I also enjoy traveling, when I get the chance. Obviously, I am passionate about learning. Most of all, I suppose, I love to read. I have been known to read just about anything and everything, but these days, I particularly enjoy reading the Bible.
