As a polymath graduating with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude (3.98 GPA), I earned a second bachelor's degree in Professional Geology with a noncompulsory minor in Earth Science (i.e., hydrologic and atmospheric sciences) from Eastern Michigan University in 2021.As part of my geology field work, I was one of a few individuals competitively selected from outside the University of Alaska to take part in UAF's prestigious summer field geology program. I studied Control & Instrumentation Engineering at The University of Houston- Downtown to help me become closer to the understanding of robotic technology to use with my computer science skills.I spent 5 years as a mobile application curriculum developer and the Mobile Application Development Chair of an Institute. During this time I constructed an entire associate program that is still being used today. I used my vast knowledge and unique teaching style to develop promising developers that are currently disrupting the computer science industry. I am currently working as a medical assistant in dermatology until I start medical school in the fall at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. I have always had a passion for helping others, and one way I could do so was by tutoring students so that they could achieve their full potential. During my time as an undergraduate, I was a part of the Emory Dream Project, a student-run organization that tutored at a local high school. I helped students with their algebra, trigonometry, and pre-calculus coursework. I particularly love tutoring math and physics because there are many different approaches to solving one problem. If one way does not make sense to the student, we can try another method that may click with them.

I am an undergraduate engineering student at North Carolina University, I plan on double majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I love math; the logic and problem solving involved in the subject makes this my favorite subject to tutor. Similarly, I also enjoy physics because this subject is like a puzzle, and I enjoy breaking a problem down into its components. Making sense of difficult material not only makes for a challenge but also a sense of accomplishment. I take the approach that most material that is perceived as difficult is only viewed that way due to the way the material is presented. I tend to break concepts down using common language and parallel those concepts with information that is already well understood. Most importantly, I feel that the information is interesting and engaging and I try to present it in exactly that manner.I have a broad range of educational experience as I started my college life attending art school to pursue a degree in traditional animation for making films. Although I did not finish my degree in animation, I did acquire some unique skills and experiences in the realm of fine art and drawing.I started pursuing subjects that interested me and was specifically pulled toward the sciences. I was lucky to have had several exceptional teachers and their guidance inspired me to obtain a degree in Chemistry. It was during this path to obtain my Bachelor's degree that I was introduced to my favorite subject, Organic Chemistry.The instructor that I had for Organic Chemistry was amazing and made the class not only amusing and interesting but also fun. The experience of understanding Organic Chemistry inspired me to pursue a Master's degree specifically in this subject.While in graduate school, I was a teaching assistant and this was very rewarding for me as I had the opportunity to share the knowledge that I had gained over my college years and pass that information on to students that were currently taking the class.
