I have been an RN for 25 years. I am a graduate of The University of Northern Colorado where I earned my BSN and a Master's in nursing education. I received a second Master's in Nursing with a focus in Nurse Midwifery. Since graduation, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings and spent 13 years as a Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado of Nursing. Additionally, I also teach for The Johns Hopkins University teaching graduate-level students in courses like Epigenetics, Advanced Cell Biology, and Genes and Disease. I have taught and tutored many biology courses such as genetics, cell biology, ecology, and immunology. Throughout undergrad and graduate school, I tutored many students at local high schools, colleges, etc. While I teach and tutor in a broad range of biology courses, my favorite area to teach is immunology and Human Anatomy and Physiology.
