I am currently finishing my Bachelor's of General Studies with a Business Management emphasis.I have tutored many young children with reading, violin, and writing. I am an undegraduate math major and CS minor at University of Maryland, College Park. I tutor math at all levels and mostly focus on math, but can also cover theoretical CS, programming in Java & C, and basic physics. I've tutored students in high school through the math honor society, and continued tutoring in college through the Office of Multi-Ethnic Student Education. My long term plan after graduation is to enter grad school, get a PhD in math, and eventually become a math professor, researching and lecturing throughout the whole process.

Since graduation, I have been tutoring students looking to improve their programming skills and gain a couple of IT-related certifications. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about computer science, programming(Java, Python, C#/ASP.NET, (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript), and various CompTIA certifications which I also currently hold (A+, Network+, and Security+).In my experience helping struggling students prepare for certifications or sharpen their coding skills, we always seem to have the most fun (with remarkable advancements) prepping for the Performance-based questions and understanding the key concepts of programming depending on the scenario. I also have a Spanish as a foreign language diploma from the ministry of education in Spain and have a 160 hour TEFL certificate. Currently, I am in my last semester at the University of West Florida for a master's degree in business administration (MBA) and have been applying to doctorate programs related to the field of educational technology. I have experience teaching students of all ages from 5 years old to 70 years old. I have taught English as a second language in Spain, Panama, and Colombia. I have also privately tutored at my college and university in the subjects of Spanish and business math and friend's children in elementary reading and math. I am most passionate about languages, math, business, and the sciences behind sustainability. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and reading about social topics.
