Dr. Emily Fox DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with a passion for evidence-based practice, education, professional development, and creating positive change. Dr. Fox earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2005 from The University of New Mexico, her Master of Science in Nursing with Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Certification in 2009 from Arizona State University, a Post-Master's Certificate in Conflict Management, Negotiation & Mediation in 2019 from The University of Alabama, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2020 from The University of Alabama.Dr. Fox has worked in the clinical arena as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, since 2009, in both Neonatal Intensive Care Units and on both ground and air transport. She also previously served as an adjunct faculty and clinical instructor for the West Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Fox has conducted research as a primary investigator and participated as a co-investigator in multiple clinical trials. Currently, Dr. Fox practices in a private practice covering 11 Neonatal Intensive Care Units in the DFW area and serves as an Assistant Professor for the graduate nursing programs at the University of Texas at Arlington.

I'm currently a fourth year medical student at a private medical school in Texas. I've been involved with tutoring since middle school continuing all the way through medical school. As I continued my academic and professional journey as a leader in the aviation industry, I fell in love with leadership philosophies and earned a Master's in Leadership Development from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, the same college where I am now a professor. At "The Woods", I teach my passions, such as leadership, moral philosophy (ethics), not-for-profit strategy, and many more subjects. I am a sophomore at Villanova University pursuing a Bachelor of Sciences in Biology. I've been tutoring now for a total of five years starting in high school and continuing through college. In high school, I participated in an ENL program (English as a New Language) which sparked my love for tutoring. I went to an elementary school and help students (Grades K-6) with their homework in reading, math science, etc. I became close with many of the children and watched them grow as students and as people throughout my four years of being there. I wanted to continue tutoring in college which lead me to join a club at Villanova called RUIBAL. Through RUIBAL I was able to again help younger children with their homework, specifically with their reading. Through zoom, I would sit and read with the students, helping them with big words and understanding the story's main idea. While I can tutor in many subjects, I am drawn to the subjects of English (specifically reading comprehension)and Science and helping with test prep. I have also recently become EMT certified so I have fresh knowledge of the subject and how to pass the exam. Education is a major part of my life however, in my spare time I also enjoy traveling (especially to National Parks), skiing, and volleyball.

I achieved my undergraduate degree in mathematics from the University of Connecticut. Soon afterward, I left the US to teach mathematics, physics, and science to island peoples on remote islands in the Pacific Ocean area known as Micronesia. From there, I travelled to Africa and taught mathematics of all levels, grades 6 to 12, under the British international curriculum at an international school in central Tanzania. I then shifted back the US to teach at a high school in Massachusetts near to where I grew up, while completing my master's degree in mathematics at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. My latest, and perhaps my last, international adventure has been the last few years living in the capital of Ethiopia, teaching the International Baccalaureate curriculum at an international school in Addis Ababa. Between my teaching, I tutor students of all levels, most often in preparation for standardized tests, like the IGCSE, A-levels, SATs, and the IB, among others. When I was not involving myself in education, I was DJing at festivals and events in and around the towns or cities where I was residing at the time.

I am also an overnight technician in the equine department at the OSU veterinary teaching hospital. I have both an associates and bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology, but am also currently working toward achieving my BS in Biology at Oregon State University. I am concurrently studying for a minor in mathematics, chemistry, and education. I have a great interest in veterinary medicine, but my true passion is in anesthesia.
